What the f*ck is the new draft queue?

I thought the idea of this was to get the role you want? Why can't I select only one role as the one I want..? All that happens is that I get a longer queue time which I am completely fine with. Also, does "not locking in = queue dodge" even accomplish anything at all? WTF is this even intended to do? This whole thing just seems completely failed or overlooked by riot. Why is it limited to only 2 roles or fill aswell? Why can't I pick 3 or 4 roles and leave out the ones I don't want? Any thoughts on why picking one role isn't an option? To me it just seems like people play champions in roles the champ doesn't fit as well in just because the matchmaking put them on their secondary role by chance.

It would probably be an improvement if players were given a list of the roles and ticked off the ones they wanted. This isn't fun for people who only want one role, and it isn't always fun for everyone else, because some people are so desperate to get what they want they'll steal it from someone else.

In the meantime, you'll just have to make do.

I asked for the ability to tick off of a list when I started sending out rallying cries for this system years ago.

Overall I love it. But you're commenting on something I do have a huge complaint about. I don't know why we can't just, as Puddinglax suggested, tick any number of roles we want off of a list.
