March 1 marks my 1 year aniversary of playing league. I would say that for 10 of the last 12 months, I have played league for about 40 hours a week. I ended s6 and the pre season in b1, but currently find myself at b5, 0 lp.

I feel like i am comited and that I have tried everything in order to climb, but it feels like i am just spining my wheels. I have payed a coach, tryed every class, watched vids, read material, looked at stats, you name it.

Today I played fill for many of my matches, in the hopes that i wouldnt get trolls or ppl that didnt know how to play a certain role due to autofill. It didnt work, ppl still got autofilled into positions despite of having a person "fill".

The advice that everyone gives is that you need to carry to climb, but that isnt possible unless you r WAY ahead of ur oponents skill wise, and even so smurfs only get about 60% win rate.

I am hopefull that in the responses someone might be able to give me some advise that I havent tryed before.

Let me know how you climbed out of bronze, tkx.

Paying a coach, lol that's a new one.

Since I'm technically not out of bronze myself yet, I guess I'm not entitled to respond to this post. However, recently, I've managed to raise my win rate from about 20% back up to about 45%, and it would appear even higher on op.gg if the games I disconnected from were disregarded. In addition, I'm B1 right now, so I'm on the very edge of bronze and I think given a few more days I will finally surpass the bronze threshold.

When I started my ranked season, I was a very nervous player. I was always concerned about how I was perceived in the eyes of my fellow players. I prioritized not getting flamed over trying to focus on winning, and that caused me to start missing important skill shots and it would cause me to make many mechanical errors, especially when I jungled, that caused me to start feeding. Because of this, I had abysmal KDA ratios. I realized after quite a few ranked games that I was super nervous when I played ranked, and my hand would shake on my mouse due to how nervous I was, which potentially could have been one of the reasons I was committing so many mechanical errors. I realized that my confidence was super low, I was relying on others to carry me, and that I was not holding myself accountable. When I initially started playing ranked this season, I thought that the players I would be matched up against were much better than the monkeys I was matched up against in normals. However, many games after, I realized this was not the case, and I discovered that many people I played against in ranked were just as boosted as some of the players I played against in normals. Of course, there were exceptions, but for the most part, I was playing against players that had the same skill level as the players that I played against in norms. After this realization, my confidence greatly increased, and so did my KDA's. If you want to climb, I suggest that you identify what is hindering you from climbing in ranked, and then seeing what you can do to fix that specific problem. It helped me out a lot, and I hope you can get out of bronze soon :)
