I just got tahm kench and I just.... can't I suck at him, im used to ranged faster supports and I can't seem to get that good as tahnm any tips? his range is so small and he's so slow, i need help m gonna sleep then check ur answers in the morning
Astôlfo1 votesTahm Kench is just doing horribly in general. In botlane, his Q poke and W save is pretty much his only saving grace in early. His health and tankiness are shit without items. And his ult takes getting used to, to get that 'feel' for when/where to ult.
Flaherty1 votesLol he's actually still pretty good if you can play him decently. His damage and tankiness aren't op like they used to be but it's still good and he has amazing utility.

Also, don't pick him if the enemy support is Ranged. It makes laning phase really boring for you. Proc relic shield, sit in the back ready to devour your ADC. Maybe toss your tongue at someone from time to time. Wait for jungler to gank, read a few books, rewrite the Bible, figure out the meaning of life.

Tahm Kench is the one of the best duelists in League. It also might be my skill on this champ since I have a huge win streak right now. Anyways all u have to do is to play safe early and let them push. When they get close enough to the turret smack them 3 times, swallow, place them at ur turret when no minions is nearby. Ez kill. For mid game all u have to do is farm until ur R is up and gank mid. Late game just gotta take all the hits whilst watching ur teammates.
Ok maybe my advice would be a bit difficult for higher elo's but it works.
237k mastery points on tahm kench and I still never get bored of him :D.

warpenguin5551 votesIn both Top lane and Support I max Q>W>E. I used to max W then Q but the stickiness you get from the Q is a lot more valuable in my opinion.
