I used them all to preview what skins looked like in game instead of searching them up in a video since I was a idiot(volcanic wukong general wukong and kennen).
I used all of my refunds after I bought champs and didn't really like them. One of those champs was Kindred, because I couldn't jungle for shit. And this was back before 6.13 before Kindred when OP as fuck. Then I bought them AGAIN and now I'm Mastery 7 Kindred main. FML.

I remember back when I first started playing that I relied on my friends advice for buying items. I played Annie mid and he told me to always buy a Doran's Ring when I went back. I didn't know I could sell the items afterwards so I always had 3-4 Doran's at the end of the game. Made for interesting talk after the game though!
I used to think Runes weren't important, even after level 30..
Back in Season 2 preseason I started out playing AD Leona mid. Thinking "Well, she is a warrior. She needs a sword, shield, armor, boots, locket and gloves."

They give you the refunds immediately so you can make really bad mistakes with them... : D
i remember thinking it was complete bullshit when people didnt "stay in their lanes" and that "AHAH!" moment when i figured out that you build ability power on katarina and you dont build blade of the ruined king on everything XD
