The state of Akali

Akali has been the victim of a lot of indirect nerfs in the past, and, while the recent MYMU was an overall buff to AP champions in general, Akali still managed to get nerfed with the change to Hextech Revolver, which was a very important item for her to have some sort of early game. Added on top of the fact that Zhonya's now has a much lower AP number in exchange for CDR (which Akali has no real need for) and a little bit lower cost, Akali as a Midlaner and Toplaner is suffering. With the buffs to Midlane Mages, Akali can't even try to catch up again after lv6 now.

What do you all think of Akali's state right now?

Akali is in the shitter also i dont care because i remember back in the day when the bitch could ult you from way to far away and blow you up while building little tank items but being able to sustain thought teamfights. So i am still bias towards her but yeah she sucks right now she cant win lane and with hybrid items dying out she has poor build options

I'm so glad someone else has pointed this out. Ever since I started maining akali in season 3-4 she has been slowly and continually nerfed. Changes to items/Changes to the masteries/Changes to her mechanics/buffs to champs that can counter her Illaoi . Everyone states that she has insane damage, can stick to easily and has no counterplay. Of course she has insane damage, as does about 50% of the rest of the champion pool. Her stickiness is what makes Akali Akali. And lastly she has loads of counterplay. She is one of the easiest champs to counter IMO. What kind of world is this where a Graves can best an Akali

i dont know whenever i play ADC i cannot stand akalis.. They do so much damage and you cant ever get them off your ass. Its like a 50/50 of you being close enough to auto an akali then you die right after 2 autos from her Ulting you.

Shes a really strong champ i do not think shes weak at all.. Also with hextech gunblade id check my damage log when i die and itll say ''298 hextech gunblade'' Like what? lmao. How is that fair

Nah shes fine man she got item buffs out the ass

Gunblade as a full item hasn't really changed, but the path to Gunblade is a lot weaker to Akali now without early spell vamp.

Haha u want to 1v1 an Assassin as ADC? And that's your proof that she is viable? Jesus christ. ADC should NEVEEEEEEEEEEEER be able to 1v1 assassin, i hope that lucian will get gutted soon.
