Escaping is impossible

I feel like season 6 is very anti escape. not just in hard cc, but its much harder to get out alive with 15 hp after a fight. Now im not sure what changed to make this happen, but i remember the 2015 season pretty well. I escaped from so many situations with low hp consistently. My friends and i used to say that i had a summoner passive reading "If i drop below 200 health, it becomes impossible to kill me." And this was because i would either get into these 1v1s in the jungle or be in a team fight and disengage right before i would die. I would then use all of the mechanics available to me to run around the whole map and just simply not die in seemingly impossible ways. I could do this frequently with champions such as rammus, amumu, morgana, quinn, sion, wu kong, nautilus, and vi. Yet, this season, it hasnt been happening. While im unsure of the actual numbers, lets say i used to be able to escape 40% of near death experiences, but this season im only escaping less than 10%. Im not sure what changed to cause this, but i know its not my person play style, and honestly, i think riot should be concerned if excellent mechanical skill is no longer sufficient for a player experienced with their champion to make it out from between a Malphite and a hard place

It's probably the increased prevalence of powerful tanks with plenty of CC and the high damage a lot of champions are able to put out now. (I'm thinking of the attack speed champs like Yi, Xin, and Kog'maw, and the burst champs like Zed, Rengar, LeBlanc, and Ahri being picked to counter them.)

Of the champs you mentioned in your list, only Rammus is currently OP in the meta. The likelihood is just that, like us all, you are trying to adapt to a rapidly shifting meta and simply aren't there yet.

perhaps this is the case, and honestly without the game play footage that i do not have, i cant compare and contrast the finer details at all, but this is definitely a possibility. (thank you for your constructive and productive input)

Retreat sooner....

You know if a fight is good or bad at the engagement. Hence; you know if you need to escape right away, so do it!

but my judgement wasnt a problem before, i have the same judgement as before. keep in mind, the variable here is not my skill, but rather the game itself. retreating sooner is saying that i am the problem even though ive been able to make these escapes before. this is not to say that im lcs and im a perfect player because i know that im not, I my flaws in the game and i look at each play with perspective afterwards to understand what went wrong, who did what that led to the result. I know its easy to come to the conclusion that im egotistical and i never think i am the problem, thats how a large portion of the community is. But its also hard(impossible) for me to prove to you that my skills are not the problem without game play footage from before and after (which i do not possess). if you still do not believe my side of the story, oh well, PSA: commenting further on this exact detail will get the conversation no where
