Ah i was unclear, well to explain.
No.
Early game champs played well should always beat careless lategame champs. Because that´s the danger of playing lategame champs.
You get to have amazing power that is nearly unstoppable (like
ult ) but in exhange a huge weakness is needed.
That weakness is exactly the early game and all the treasures found there.
So to speak, a lategame champ needs to be played exceptionally well to not lose out too much early least the game become irrecoverable, it's only because they have a weakness like this that their amazing lategame can be allowed to exist.
And thus naturally, early game champions will have the power to snowball out and end early.
If you personally lose out so hard that you cant recover then you´ve just played poorly, if your team collapses then your team has been doing poorly, because those early game fellows wouldn't be so strong otherwise.
Early game champs are exactly as their name implies, amazing early, but after that they will grow weaker or their strength will gain more conditions.
Lategame champs simply have the conditions of having the skill requirement to make it past the early and midgame, if this is done well then congratulations your team will have an amazingly powerful champ available that will outperform any counterpart on the enemy team as long as that isn't also a lategame one.
And for your Twitch....he currently sits on a 54% winrate and 14% playrate on OP.GG being the highest ADC in terms of winrate and the 5th most played.
He is quite amazing you know? The only ones who are close are EZ who's winrate is currently terrible and Cait who instead has a ridiculous amount of players.
Then also somehow, Ashe which i don't understand at all, maybe it's her charisma seeing how she actually loses most games against twitch the other bigshot ADC's.
Actually, i looked through a number and apparently even caitlyn has a negative winrate against twitch, his apparent weaknesses are instead Draven and miss fortune.
....Damm Twitch is actually OP according to all these statistics....
