Okay, Riot NEEDS to revert the changes to baron and dragon timers

There is a point where catering to us low elo plays goes WAYYY TOO FAR, and riot... You crossed the damn line by removing a GIGANTIC element of strategy to the game, please revert this horrid change, its worse than the new HUD.

But we already know when Dragon and Baron are taken because of a global sound effect, why not just make it more convenient by having an in game timer? I mean everyone knows it's 6 mins to respawn

This is the catch. Either the global notifications should have been dropped, or the built-in timers should automatically start.

I mean, come on! I'm a bronze noob scrub and I was keeping track of dragon timers without even seeing the dragon pit! How does keeping the timers off help show skill?

please remove the global dragon/baron timer/message. This is a skilled game where Fog of War and understanding buff timers is entirely imperative to the gameplay. Take a step back and look at the game you're beginning to ruin.

If nobody sees the buff being taken, the icon stays on the minimap. This is EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL to catching enemy players as they try to make plays around the buffs that may or may not be there. the idea of leaving a fog of war effect to EVERYTHING UNSEEN on the map is extremely important in determining where to go and what to do. It is a battlefield that we play in, not a timed global indicator.

There were already sound and particle effects that occurred when dragon died. All it took to time it was to type "d" in chat and add 6 minutes to the time stamp.

The only really difference is that people will no longer have to scroll up in chat to double-check the timer.
