The main reason fiddlesticks is falling off is that his primary role is as a jungler. Currently none of the jungler enchants go well with his kit (Runeglaive is next to useless). Also his ult relies heavily on the team not having vision to use at its full potential due to its long channel time. Now that vision is so widely available he can't get the engages he needs.

One of the highest ranked fid mains in NA actually builds cinderhulk on fid because he finds it to be his most efficient item. You know a champion is wrecked when his first item is for HP-stacking tanks

I really like fid but it is SO HARD to play him now

The main issue i think is the fact that Fiddlesticks has no jungle item. Which would not be such a problem, because he can jungle without one, were it not for the fact that you now need these jungle items for XP

If riot were to give fiddlesticks a passive somehwere which gives him bonus xp for killing jungle creeps then that alone would probably fix most of his problems

Greetings.

Memories from last patchs

-> 5.12 : http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-512-notes "At this point we might as well talk about Fiddlesticks, because he's both the prototypical example of a champion who uses Magus well (because strong base kit + stats = happy) while also being the least excited about this item change. First, we believe that Fiddlesticks has been an extremely strong jungler for some time now and don't think this item change will significantly hamper him, particularly since many Fiddle mains have been skipping their Magus upgrade to get Zhonya's early. That ends up sounding like a weird excuse though, so we'd prefer to talk about this in our second lens: outliers."

I mean, there is so much exaggeration in this patch note, "extremely strong jungler", "EXTREMELY", they couldn't be more ridiculous, even if they wanted it... Strong in what situation ? In normal games ? Because I don't see him much played @ LCS, do you ? And this is so contradictory, how can he be the "prototypical example of a champion that uses Magus well", and not be "hampered" by the deleting of it, ridiculous again.

They're also talking of "fiddle mains", but what Fiddle main ? Who ? Where ? On the PBE, where everyone's playing for fun ? Seriously ? That's your datas ?

This shows that their balancing team has clearly no idea of how Fiddlesticks is played, and that's not surprising, because we're only a few to play him, and to understand how he works, he really is completely different from other champs. And sorry, but I want to think that the one with more than 300 hours of high level Fiddlesticks playing understands him better than anyone, and when I see those decisions, I don't feel like they listen to these players, at all.

After a lot of forum posts against their 5.12 changes and an instant 5% win rate drop for Fiddle, they had (I really don't know why) to come back on it...

-> 5.22 : http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-522-notes "[...] You might have seen this with the removal of the Magus enchantment, where we had to think hard if jungle Fiddlesticks was truly going to be useless without his finely-tuned enchantment (we came to the conclusion of no)."

That's a sick argumentation from Riot Games "Balancing" Team, again, that's all we "might have seen" there.

That nerfed him since 5.12, but it's actually getting even worse right now with vision, early QSS, zhonyas cost, etc.

fiddlesticks doesnt need a rework, he just needs adjustments. His lore, gameplay, and theme are all fantastic the problem is a considerable number of nerfs fairly recently and the fact that he has no jungle item.

They need to change fear, just make it basically a stun, have the enemy target quake in place. Having them run away was one of the most incredibly retarded decisions I have seen the balance team make in a long time, which is saying a lot.

Revert the tether change nerf. I mean increasing the range you can apply drain and then nerfing the tether range is literally jaw-dropping. The average bronze player can balance better than riot with this shit

give his passive some scaling

even with all these changes he'd still be a bad pick, but he'd atleast be viable, right now he might be the worst champion in the game

I actually think riot said that they are under the impression he should be buffed.

Imo make a thread talking about his current issues and where and what help he needs(as in suggest buffs).

I don't think there is much sense in making posts simply saying that there is a problem, because I think riot has already acknowledged that they feel that that is indeed the case.

Fid was such a strong champ for many seasons, would be nice if riot could improve his win-rate without some wholesale rework (please no skillshot Q omg).

Suggestions:

Apply drain over a shorter duration. Drain applies a slow. MR/Armor enhanced during drain. Bounces of his E apply a mark to enemy units which explodes when he auto-attacks (allows easier farming for middlesticks). Shorlty after using Crowstorm his ult can be activated again to get a free Zhonyas. Put his Fear back to 3 seconds at max rank, lolz.

U can still lane with fid. I went god mode just the other day mid fid. Build him as a bruiser style mage.
