And will never work properly because the idea is flawed, at least in the "ranked" department.

DQ could become great for normals where the benefit of having artificially evened games could make for fun experiences even with mixed setups.

But ranked should never be about creating an artificial 50/50 environment by introducing handicaps and mixed terms, ranked should match similarly skilled players and EXACT setups against each other without any kind of deviation, that is how we find out which team/individuals truely deserves the win more.

That's why mixed Q's should never be a thing in ranked, ever.

You would never see an NBA referee go:

"Hey, the Orlando Magics are clearly better than Chicago Bulls, let's exchange one of them for a littleleaguer to even the odds."

Makes no sense right?

Yet this is more or less what DQ "ranked" does and will therefor never be considered competitive, fair or legitimate by anone with any logical understanding. A competitive game/sport is never about evening odds, it's about providing a level playing field, period.
