Why the hell am I popping in gold elo after my 10 placement match when I was diamond in S5. They did a hard reset for S6 ?!?

From what I've read, it was only a soft reset...??! Wow... I just wanted to test the DQ, and I got deranked like this, are you crazy, what the heck ?!!?! Honestly, I feel like I got fuc*ed by Riot right there, no words. Who did that ? :/
Well... After that derank I tried some DQ matchs (I had to reinstall the game, I lose a bit of my control and rekt some of my League folder with notepad from that unjustified derank), actually it was not good at all ? Especially the promotion match where my toplane went AFK because he was getting camped (and flamed) by a 3+ premade. So yeah, unbalanced matches overall, but hey... can they at least try to "increase the balance" in promos i.e. NO premades against solos...?
About the Q time, minimum 3 minutes, maximum 10 mins, very often I got 6 mins Q's, not that short to be honest.
