When they also get Blade of the Ruined King? You are screwed from either side... This is what happens with Yi. No one likes to admit that the damage that champ puts out is pretty insane. If you CC him and can burst him down in one go your good. If you don't he will alpha strike skill shots back to back meanwhile dealing A LOT of damage to your whole team... even if you are a tank. I have never liked this champion.

Fiora - Riposte Malphite - Ground slam Nasus - Wither
Getting Frozen heart and Thornmail (or randuin) is also a very good way of countering since it reduces attack speed too. Combine it with lots of Health and CC, and you're good to go
What you need to know, attack speed reductions stack multiplicatively and take percentages off the final attack speed value after all bonus attack speed has been factored in making it VERY usefull against high attacking speed champions such as Master Yi, Vayne, Twitch, Kog Maw, Jinx
Malphite is usually the number 1 choice for countering auto attack champions considering how easy it is for him to get near ennemies with his ultimate and apply ground slam followed by Randuin's omen

well when Yi gets conquerors+Rageblade the double damage from E coupled with his passive fks tanks up really hard. The only solution is to drag him to teamfights, you will never 1v1 him. Burst damage is yi's real counter.

'What weakness?' -
Build resists? Nope double dipped true damage from E and Conq.
Build HP? Guinsoos/Bloodrazor plus his double tap passive means you melt. Plus maybe Bork.
CC and burst him? Hes got almost 3k HP and Sterakks shield, and still deletes a carry in under 2 seconds.
Oh and lets not forget this little beauty 
So even if you have one champ to CC him you need 2 now.

It's a good meta for him now, especially with conqueror, if he has it against occasional tank (I heard that that this rune may be gone in the future).
Seeing something like Alistar/Braum/Leona/Nautilus + random tank jungle + random tank top is almost certainly a loss for Yi. You can't do much, if you can't play the game. Fortunately, tanks are considered boring even when they are good and now they are not good, so they are not played much.
Still, I don't think that 
are very fair against tanks, but crit Yi was also somewhat overpowered (you had to build banshee's veil to not get 1 shot by a Q) when he was playable in season 4 - there were still no broken items like feral flare and similar, but I may not remember correctly - thornmail was instawin vs Yi, Trynda and Tristana, and Fiora, very funny.
