That's probably part of the criteria for a current meta champ though: High skill cap, but powerful, frustrating, and aggravating to deal with. Incentivizes teamwork.
Champions aren't supposed to be easy to deal with. I know about half of them are, but most of those were early release champions who still have linear underwhelming kits. In reality this game is supposed to use your brain.
Let me give you an example:
Just now, I had a team hyper feeding a
.
Literally NONE of them knew how to work around her, as she first item'd a
I Was
.
You know what I did?
Every single time she started a potential 1v5 ace, I would bait her first hits, Ignite her, Barrier, take 2 shots, Flash back, then R >Q and let my team finish the rest.
What this did was deprive her of a Silver Arrows proc and reset her rotation halfway through her ult. That meant E was on cooldown, her W was useless, and she couldn't heal.
She got a little stronger toward the end, so I also added
into the mix, and would proc it when I went in to ignite her.
^ What I described above is NOT NORMAL PLAY. That's problem solving on a micro and macro level to shut down a toxic hard to deal with champ. It used every part of my kit literally just to pin her down, not kill her. But I knew if I did it, and then Flashed correctly after she Tumbled, she was dead every time.
And I need to emphasize: this was a good Vayne. She even brought an Anivia support to create free walls for her. The Anivia was timing those walls to cancel Tristana Rocket Jumps too.
