@RIOT: Can Trundle's ult give clearer particles so that it's more obvious during a team fight?

As a tank, it's VERY impactful to know when Trundle has ulted you since it gives him a huge boost in survivability and makes you way more fragile. I think the particles as-is are sufficient in 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 situations, but in large teamfights it's VERY hard to tell. Would it be possible to get a screen border of some kind (like Evelyn's Allure, does, for example) to designate when you are under the effects of his ult? if no, is there a reason why ?

We'd talked about giving him new particles in the past to better communicate the ult, but didn't have a super solid direction and ended up not doing the project. The suggestion of a screen border seems pretty reasonable though - for some reason I hadn't thought of that before. I know there's some concern with overusing that effect, but given the importance of knowing when you were ulted - especially as a tank - it doesn't seem unreasonable to use it here. I'll talk to some folks.

I don't look for the particles I just look at him because when he ults he gets huge like when Volibear ults.

I feel like it's plenty noticeable to whoever Trundle cast it on. To everyone else, not so much. I would argue the only people that really need to know are Trundle's teammates. But maybe I'm biased because I like him and get annoyed when allies don't help me kill the one I cast ultimate on.

If you see that your MR and armor has decreased for some reason, then yeah he ulted you. Ez pz.
