Hextech Crafting Champion Shard Ideas?

I know that it's been stated earlier by rito that the champion shard for people who already own all of the champions will be useful for something. Can we get an idea on what this might be, or at least the direction that you feel you're going in?

Also what ideas do you guys have for champion shards? What do you think they could be useful for?

Maybe they could make chromas for all the champions and then you could get the chromas instead of the champion for all the champions you already have.
