Possible Yasuo Nerfs?

Aight, so most of us here agree that Yasuo is pretty strong, and in a place that deserves decent nerfs. We all know he has high mobility on E, huge damage with Q/Ult/Passive#2, and great defence on Passive#1/W. What I want to do in this thread is focus on one specific aspect of that, namely the defence.

In my opinion I find that Yasuo's shield gets super strong late game, and needs a slight change, but not too much. I think it just needs to be harder to stack, that way it doesn't proc 2-3 times per fight, and is used as the poke resist tool that it's meant to be.

The other defence tool that Yasuo brings is his awesome wind wall. This ability. Just wow. Amazing concept, love the idea, it's a really cool game changing idea. The only problem is that it does that way too well. The game shifts on a dime with one good wind wall. About to get hooked into the enemy team and throw a fight? Wind wall. Taking too much harass under your tower and need to keep up health? Wind wall. The biggest problem is that it's way too powerful for how easy it is to use. Think about Braum's Shield. It blocks one projectile's damage, and still keeps the effects. Then only reduces the damage, but it's mobile.

There are multiple ways that I think Yasuo's wind wall can be balanced. So I'll just put them all here.

  1. Make it place-able like Karthus wall, making it so that you can over place it past the projectile you're clutch blocking. It adds more difficulty to it.

  2. Block only a certain amount of projectiles. Easy Fix, allows you to outplay it by throwing smaller projectiles at it to let your big ones through.

  3. Make it 3 smaller wind walls on the northwest, north, and northeast (still movable, just giving a sense of direction). Allows players to counterplay by throwing projectiles in between them, effectively making the skillshots way harder to hit (Ziggs Q's), and some larger ones still impossible (Jinx Ezreal Draven Nami Ults)

  4. My personal favourite, but the least likely to work (way too complicated). Make it so that any projectile hit by wind wall becomes a skillshot, and reduces the missile speed by around 30%/40%/50%/60%/70%. This allows you to reduce the amount of projectiles you'll be hit by and makes it easier to dodge, but isn't just a no-brainer. If you don't get how this would work, then here's an example. Brand ult is heading towards you, you wind wall to block it. The ult continues to where you were when it hit the wall, and gets there much much slower. However it's still the ult so if it hits a minion it would go back to normal as if you hit the minion. For skillshots it would just slow their projectile speed, making it very easy to dodge, but not impossible.

I know that there are a lot of other ideas, and if you have any please post them I really want to hear them.

Thanks for reading.

Nope. Yasuo is fine. You just need to learn how to play against him. He is already nerfed enough.
