My Problem With Juggernauts

Ok, so I understand the concept of Juggernauts. There's basically four stats of tank/damage/mobility/utility, and Juggernauts have tank and damage with a little utility, and no mobility. I understand that is what Riot wants to make. However I feel it was poorly executed.

Reason one being that the utility for some of them is just amazing. Darius E is extremely strong even with its high CD, Skarner ult is godly if played right, Garen silence was supposed to be gone with other silences and is still just as annoying (but better now, and better than the other Juggernauts).

My other reason isn't even with the damage, which I can sort of understand, and while I think it's strong it doesn't necessarily have to be the champions weak point. What my problem is, is that the same time that they release these slow, tank, damaging changes, they release an item that specifically makes it so that their mobility is not a problem. I see you there item 3742. Plus all things considered, their mobility isn't that bad in the first place. Darius' being the worst, and he has 340 base MS.

Once a Juggernaut catches you that's pretty much it. Lights out. And I understand that that is what they are for. But 60 MS from item 3742 is may too high. Like Riot said, it's supposed to be a selfish engage tool. The problem is that it's not because you basically get the move speed all the time, save a few times that you actually auto people, in which case you're sticky and can keep on them.

Sorry for the rant, but tell me what you think. Got any ideas on how to fix it?

At no time did they plan on removing Garen's silence. They nerfed it because they want people to actually be able to avoid his full E if they can, however he has to walk right up to someone in order to use it.

The champions who lost their silence had a ranged silence.

As for your other points keep in mind that Riot does not view movement speed as mobility. Mobility is the ability to dash or blink, not run fast. Dead Man's Plate, however, is still up for debate as to whether it's making certain champions too strong. The speed on it is perfectly fine, however the speed along with the defensive stats may be too much. Hopefully if they nerf it that nerf focuses on it's defenses, and not the speed.

Maybe then Sunfire will be competitive against it, with one being more for defense and the other more for utility.
