League of Legends is toxic
and I'm not talking about the players, I'm talking about the game itself. Let's take a look shall we.
ADCs Has the highest DPS and in combat sustain of any other role meaning either you burst them down or they will demolish someone. Either way this goes someone is going to feel bad. Either the ADC is going to feel bad because they got killed before they can do anything, or they don't get killed and heal everything back up and kill everything.
Assassins Champions designed specifically to burst someone down and if they can't are worthless. Again... no matter how this goes someone is going to feel bad.
Ability Resets on kills "You got a kill in a team fight, here have your abilites back so you can kill everyone else too." Yeah... there's no way that could end up feeling horrible for the team who's against it. [/end sarcasm]
Immunity to anything Immunity only works if you have some way of getting around it. Like in pokemon it doesn't feel cheap that Flying is immune to Ground because A) your ground pokemon probably has some non ground attacks and B) you probably have 5 other non ground pokemon. In League, what happens if you are playing a CCless champ against Tryndamere or Kayle? A champ with only slows against Master Yi? A champ with tons of CC against Olaf? You are basically screwed.
Summoner's Rift Laning Specifically when you are losing your lane. You are forced to go back and face off against the same person who you KNOW can kill you because you literally can't do anything else.
Wombo Combo Again getting killed before you can do anything feels horrible.
High mobility champs They can kill you... and you can't kill them. Not because they are more fed or more skilled, but if they catch you out you are dead while if you catch them out they can get out without too much trouble.
There's probably more that I'm not thinking of at the moment but still... that is a lot of toxic game mechanics. Riot really needs to fix them.
