How is Karthus OP?

List out reasons, cause I played him in aram, not even sure if I contributed anything at all, besides last hitting enemies with ult.

he craps damage, understand his q deals double damage to a solo target, his E in teamfights, wall of pain, q's, and ult can easily penta.

him and ryze were the first two champions i got a penta with this season.

the karthus penta was 1v5.

lol Karthus penta 1v5. Hard to believe that none of those guys had CC on you. Max i've gotten with Karthus (Balanced Build) was 1k dmg.

This ^ In team fight, he's a constant AOE damage you can't get rid of even by killing him. That's not really interactive, but it's there if you engage or you get dove on. Also, his ult. His Q also deals a lot of sustained damage on single target, this doesn't really apply to teamfights (even tought Qs do add up even on multiple targets). But it does appy to killing dragon/baron.

I think karthus has good base damage but his AP ratio are too low to carry a game.

Interesting. I aways heard him as a lategame dps mage. Does that match how you see it? Because it seems like we contradict.

He is but I feel like he can carry a game only with his ult.

I think you might underestimate the strategic potential of an AoE damage zone that stays there even after you kill it. Not that his ult isn't another powerful tool, but the cooldown is quite long.

True. I main Karthus, and his AoE alone is good enough to turn around a team fight. His Q takes practice to always hit. And his ult. It is easy to break 1k dmg with his ult.

The annoying thing with karthus is that after level 6, all fights must be fought while asking the question "can I kill this guy and still take a karthus ult?" It greatly increases the risk of any play without adding to the reward for executing it successfully.

And Karthus is thinking can I get a kill or will I wast my ult loos globule pressure and be useless for the next 3 min.

Then have to deal with getting two v 1 later and missing a double or even an even kill for my death because I wasted my ult.

Or can I use my ult with out gwting killed, silence, or having the channel broken unlike lux's ult, and waiting 3 min. Then your team tells you to ult and you wast it................... You have it so had questioning if you can survive it.

You only use ult when ur dead. Problem solved. Also i always get double kills when they 2v1 me. You must be building Karthus it wrong.

What if Karthus got the doom bot wall of pain, with armor and mr shread? That and reverting the cd on his r would be cool

Then he would have the mr shred to compensate for his low ap ratios and lake of movement speed and he could use his ult more and make more plays.

I got a refund on him because I think he's useless.

The only thing he's good at is stacking up for late game where he can dominate, then spaming Q and using E to get kills. He's a boring champion in my eyes, which is why I got my refund back.

And his ultimate can be so easily countered with just 40% magic resist.

Well, when Karthus is doing good damage with his Ultimate, you might want to think of getting magic resist.

It only takes 40% magic resist to ignore Karthus's ultimate. Plus you can save up that item for end game to get guardian angel.

Jinx can use her ult 20 time and miss 50% of the time and get kills.

Karthus looks dumb wasting his ult and loosing his globule pressure for 3 min. Karthus also only used his ult 10 times.

Karthus could use a buff hear is a queston tell me how many hard counters their are to Karthus and how many champs he counters.

Low health low mobility low ap scaling, ad and as. His mana is the highest in the game but he is the only champ that can run out of mana with blue buff. His max mana is only 100 to 50 higher the second highest.

So the only people that see him as op are the ones how are just bad at keeping your health above 165.

He could us a buff but every one is scared he might be good if he gets buffed and their want be any hard counters to him and he might star to counter other champs.

Still list all of the hard counters to Karthus then list any of the champs he hard counters or even counters at all.

then you can explain why he is op.

Karthus is missing something to make up for certain falls in the mid game. So I would like the to add a stacking passive to defiled. Passive each kill give you a stack, max 5, each stack gives 2,4,6,8,10 per cent spell vamp. Active when toggle on defiled he gets bonus 1/2/3/4/5% per stack to all of his abilities. You loos all stacks when you toggle off defile or at the end of death defied.

You gain life to negate burst damage and you deal bonus damage wile defile is on with stacks so it give you the ability to also prevent turret dives when at full stacks but makes you weaker after you have used defile and have to farm the stacks back with out using defile.

pleas Riot make Karthus great again.
