How the fuck do you build jhin omg
im so freaking bad with this champ i dont understand.
i go ghostblade duskblade rapid and i do NO damage.
I feel like the IE-->ER-->Rapid is way better but i see every high elo streamer go armor pen?

Blows up squishies and tanks
Shiv is a decent option (for replacing Dancer or such) as well.
tbh you would get shiv for magic on hit damage and the wave clear but you are Jhin...
he has so much wave clear (not like sivir but all his abilities kill minions so fast... like set up the e, w the wave when its straight and then aa a few and q a few they all gone)
On the other hand, in lategame, a single Shiv-proc auto will clear the vast majority of an entire wave, if not the entire wave altogether.
yep im fucking stupid
(but the stats in PD is great and in the late game your w and q barely feel like any mana???)
Ok here, there is literally two choices. Either you go the full crit build which blows up squishies but not so much for tanks. Or you can go the full armor penn build.
I would suggest that if you are playing a early advantage team comp (Lee sin, yasuo, all them champs with early pressure and lane kill stuffs) then you would build the ghostblade into duskblade into 1 Zeal item and IE. But if you are playing for like late game, you might as well go your IE Rapid Fire with no armor pen and hope your assassins can chunk out their frontline.
tbh i dont even know what im doing and i ususally just go GhostBlade, Zeal Item (like PD or Rapid Fire Cannon), IE, then more crit lmao
i like having that one shot potential on like everyone (sue me lmao)
EDIT: I'm a fucking retard and armor pen is a good early but crit better late (crit does just as much damage if not more to tanks than armor pen does lmao mb)

The armour pen build does less damage than a crit build with LDR does against tanks, lol.
Crit build is better against tanks than flat armor pen.
See? idk what im doing lmaoooooo
(my friends be lying to me and im lying to myself)
Yea the difference is that crit is better late game but takes more gold and more time to ramp up then flat armor pen. The reason why pros always go armor pen is for the reliable early game damage that also has an easier build path, since their games are a lot shorter than low elo 50 min throw fests. Also youmuu's active movement speed is a plus for a fairly immobile champion.

ok
Armor pen boosts abilities that to tons of physical dmg so
Armor pen build on jhin is for his ult and W its to take down squishy targets with ease sucks against tanks
Crit build on jhin offers other things like more dmg on his auto rather then his abilties which makes him a threat to squishy people and tanks
I always thought crit build was the better build but only if u know for a fact ur going to late game
regardless either build is decent u can use ur abilties as cc instead of doing loads of dmg and help ur team that way or u can get armor pen and shred the squishy targets from really long range
Full crit build decimates everyone, but is better in lategame as it takes time to build up (said 100% crit that is for maximal optimum effect).
Armorpen build is better in early for a faster pacing game and snowballing harder in said earlygame.
However, ER+IE is one of the strongest 2-item spikes in the entire game, meaning the armorpen build is relying on you to snowball hard enough to ruin the enemy team by that point the crit Jhin would have gotten ER+IE.
Crit is way better for tanks than arpen, Crit is better for movespeed too. Armor pen is purely early/mid game build.
The crit build does better late game. The pen build does better mid game.
Me and my friend prefer a hybrid of these two. Ghostblade as it's the strongest first item. The shiv for more burst (a cheaper ghetto duskblade basically) as a bridge into the crit build. IE
The 70% crit IE ER ZEALitem build is best in slot for ability based adcs late game peroid. (two ZEAL 80% crit builds are better for auto attack adcs) ~the difference is in the AD from ER
