How to? (bronze) <3

So I'm a bronze noob. I like to think I'm not terrible (excessive feeding/falling too far behind) however, I need help learning how to carry. For example. If I play ADC I get a darius or veigar support vs karma and draven bot lane. Obviously I'm going to get poked to tower to farm. Well the support says yolo and signals to attack the draven. I know this is a bad idea but I aa anyway so I don't get toxified by the bronze players. karma mantra q's then stuns the darius while draven is slamming him. This happens 4 or 5 times after asking not to do it. The draven picks up a few other kills. I'm 0-1-0 at this point and draven is like 8-0-0. My team says it's over then they all go Tyler 1. What do I do? How do you win still? I try to be motivational but we all know the experience. Honest answers would be awesome.

The problem is you have a Darius support.

##1. Always signal to your support what you are going to do in the early game: Say that you are playing passively until 4 minutes because you are not that good with engages(by "admitting" your own shortcomings they are more likely to not do something). It is ok for your support to think you are bad if it makes them stop doing dumb things. Ping fallback etc If they don't do anything to change their behavior think about making some roaming plays.

##2. realize the that you are probably not going to win more then 55 percent of your games at the start Bronze has players that go negative are often way to negative after that. You will have games that your teammates will lose you but as long as you play better then average you should get safely out of bronze. Learn to improve yourself and don't focus to much on others.

##3. same for silver, start to notice your own shortcomings Work on the basics

  1. cs
  2. Map awareness, learn to guess where everybody is even without seeing them. general rules like the jungler on average ganks the first time at 3 minutes are useful to know here.
  3. Pushing and playing passive, make sure you can do both of these.
  4. objective control: as adc you are one of the most important shotcallers on what to do, learn who and what are the important objectives and learn when to do them.
  5. chat behavior. If you often fight in chat it means you have a way of aggravating your teammates with chat, learn to never type anything too negative as many teammates tilt after this.

After every death, think about how you could have prevented this

  1. Ask yourself if you could have known who goes aggressive and why you were caught
  2. Ask yourself if you made a mechanical mistake(didn't dodge a blitz q) or a macro mistake(didn't ward properly or wasn't paying attention to your mini map)

4. Identify your carries and your win conditions

Imagine: you are going 2/2/2 and are pretty much neutral. If you don't think you are strong enough to carry yet and your lane phase is over, learn to identify who can carry and help him/her get more fed. In other situations(like if your team has no pushers) it might be useful to learn to shotcall. Say what dragon/baron needs to get caught, say what turrets should be pushed and learn to say it in such a way that your teammates will follow you.

5. ADC youtubers and reddit

youtubers such as phylol and subreddits such as reddit.com/r/ashemains (reddit.com/r/(name of champion+ mains)) can really help you.

6. Identify tilt

If you are tilted learn to stop.

##7. Keep playing and keep focusing on improvement If you practice you can improve, identify your weak points and keep working on them.

These are all the tips I can give, I hope they help.

  1. Improve your last hitting skills and map awareness.
  2. Learn when to trade and when not to.
  3. If you think your teammates are doing something stupid, don't die with them
  4. Dodging is your friend. If you are in champ select and you think the game can't be won, get out.
  5. Learn what mistakes are being made and how to punish them.

Honestly, you win some you lose some. Leave this one, move on, play next.
