Patch COP: Cancer Of the Patch! Episode One: Patch 8.18

This is the opinion of a low Gold player. Take with more than a grain of salt. In this series I will pick one champion that I have noticed to be currently destroying my solo queue. There will be 1 champion with 1 honorable mention.

This week's "Cancer Of the patch:" Volibear

Back when I started playing in season 3, there were two champions that I hated so very much: , and . I think it was around mid season 7, but the big bear got gutted badly. I was actually very happy. I won't have to see him for a very long time. That wasn't short lived, but God do I wish it lasted longer. With the power of mobility boots, Dead man's plate, and the domination keystone Predator, Volibear has become the tank you can never outrun. His kit is perfect for early ganks for a snowbally meta. His passive also makes him nearly impossible to kill 1 on 1 other than when it's down at the lower levels. As a Kha'zix jungler, this is so annoying to me. He has Predator, mobility boots, his speed up ability in general, and has a knockup, slow, and another microCC ability. He's basically a better Shyvana. His passive prevents him from being shut down early, his insane CC prevents enemies from escaping, and his linear playstyle and kit makes him an easy pick for any decent player. That is why I put him on the Patch COP.

Honorable Mention: Kayn Kayn is very weak early game, but if you survive long enough to transform into red Kayn you are nearly unstoppable. Counter jungle early or perish. COP% - 55% Cancer
