Dying to the last tick of Ignite when the enemy is nowhere near you sucks.
So when Zed presses R on you, (and of course proceeds to miss EVERY ability, as if it matters), autoattacks you once, Ignites, then shadows out, you're just standing there twiddling your thumbs waiting to die from Ignite. This feels like crap. Not coming down on Zed specifically, as many Champions can do this. What if Ignite was more interactive and had conditionals and wasn't just fire-and-forget?
What if Ignite checks for the last time you were damaged from a non-Ignite source, and if you weren't damaged, it fizzles out?
OR
What if Ignite required close proximity to continue ticking, and if it doesn't detect the user nearby, it also fizzles out?
