Most of people blame poke, but not many know that the real OPs of ARAM are in fact ADCs.
It's not lately, it's always. Champions like Caitlyn and Twitch has been dominating under skilled hands in ARAM for a long time now.
adc? mages are the most powerful in the mode.
I’ve always thought Sivir was auto-win in ARAM because of her spellshield, ult, and best-in-class waveclear. Especially the waveclear.
It's been "more ranged wins" for a while, which is why Bans shouldn't have been removed.
As some have already said, this has always been the case. People moan about poke but I'd take poke from an immobile mage that I can build MR against vs an ADC I can't catch with dashes and bonus movement speed hitting me from outside my range. When bans first came in, my bans were Lucian, Ez and MF. Now that poke mages have been nerfed, 8 of the top 30 champs in ARAM are ADCs, there's only 18 ADCs in the game (and one isn't even played as an adc).
Only Trist and Kalista struggle.
Considering mages are busted right out the gate and ADCs don’t scale til several items, what the fuck did you want the ADC to do?
They are a damage dealer, dealing damage is their thing and they can’t even do that until 2-3 items, usually towers are down by then.
Honestly its more like the team that gets fewer "useless in aram" melee champs, generally divers, wins.

Well they nerfed poke champs universally and a lot of mages got tuned down on top of it, PoM was nerfed so ultmachines no longer get them as frequently and mana sustain isnt permafull from it, tanks no longer have warmogs and instead of 25% missing hp so effectively takes longer just to stay at like 80% instead of 10 seconds later full health, meanwhile with increased moneygain and usually the adc farming they hit their powerspike sooner and with crit the way it is (especially with lifesteal runes+ health on kill) you get champs that have hard sustain and shitloads of damage that is only mitigated by armor, but like 90% of games someone on your team is running a black cleaver and the newer last whisper giving 20% pen now makes it super easy to just steamroll through it. Yeah mages can burst you down but only a few specific ones can do it safely, and most adc's take barrier/heal to bait stuff like that on top if are sitting in the middle of a team...
ADCs are good in ARAM if they have a strong team behind them. This has always been the case.
There is no rule " better X wins " in aram it's a damn aram
If you get Better ADC or JG in SR then okay understandable , many people do that , but why people bringing it in aram lol
win fast and hope you have divers against adc's. they are worthless until about 12min
Whichever team gets Mages like Sona and Lux usually wins.
If you can stall out long enough every ARAM becomes a better team fight wins game, and ADCs are the best teamfighters as long as they have some meat shields to stand in front of them.
