Janna BUFFS?

Janna is in the best spot balance wise she has been in since season 4 at least. She is not overbearing as she has been and is at a pretty consistent win and play rate.

At first Riot said she is getting buffed because she is not as strong as she has been historically. That statement is wrong on so many levels. An apology would be, Kassadin is not as potent in his ban rate as he was before so we want to buff him back to a 99% ban rate. This thought is actually so disgusting to see be used as a reason to buff a historically OP champion. I sincerely hope Riot reconsiders their position on the Janna changes and dont push then through. It would be an extremely idiotic move.

What do you guys think? If you disagree please open my eyes to what I'm missing.

Janna is supposed to thrive in a meta full of assassins and engage, and she's not doing well at all. That's a bad sign. Also instead of buffing her utility (which she desperately needs) they choose to buff her damage. It's not going to help much.

I very much disagree she thrives in a fighter/tanky meta so she can consistently force the fighters off her marksman while in an assassin meta they can burst harder and are more mobile so they can handle her absurd cc. Lulu is a better fit against assassins with polymorphic and her ult that instantly gives health.

Even during the bruiser meta, she was struggling, and Lulu has it worse off as well.

Struggling at around a 50% winrate with a decent playrate? I dont see how that is struggling.

Last I checked, Lulu was 48% winrate nearing 47% and listed in D tier. For a relatively simple champion in a meta that should favor her, that is abysmal.

Enchanters as a whole are in a weird spot right now, considering they caught the nerf bat when tank and engage supports were already taking over.

The only viable enchanters are Nami, Soraka, and Sona. The healers that have (more than) enough damage to get through the lane phase when paired with one of the oppressive meta ADCs and snowball the game. And when put against an engage lane, they still suffer from the usual enchanter problem.

I'm discussing Janna not Lulu's balance. I just said Lulu is more designed to beat assassins. I did not say she was balanced right now. Janna is completely viable. She is consistently within 49-51% win rate with a decent play rate.

Good.

Enchanters shouldn't be playable. The class is by its very nature extremely low counterplay and interaction.

The class deserves to rot, and the terrible players who coasted by on their strength deserve to demote to bronze where they belong.

Nami and Bard are the only ones that deserve any kind of viability.

Again, Janna's winrate for a simple champion in a meta she should favor is pretty low. She's just not getting her job done.

Because a champion doesn't deserve to have a high winrate because they are simple. That is not how it works. At low elo fine because people suck than a low skill champion should be good but the higher you get the more they should even out or fall.

It's not JUST because she's simple. It's that she's simple in a meta that she should succeed in.

She can if she plays it really well and the assassins does not, but she is not the best enchanter for assassins. Also enchanters are good in ADC protection metas not ADC deletion metas.

Why is it that people complain about Janna and Lulu but Alistar still exists. He literally fits every comp and is always good.

Not to mention his base damage early is ridiculous so if you as much as step into his range and he ignites you he can kill you at level 3 without breaking a sweat.

So true. Its stressful playing into an alistar, especially with janna and lulu so harshly nerfed; they were his hardest counters so now he just runs rampant

I perma ban Alistar so I don't ever have to feel the pain of playing against him. Except the one time I did and I tilted off the map.
