Preseasons coming, can we take a look at AP Ezreal
Riot, the preseason is coming. There are countless ways to improve AP Ezreal, some rocking the boat more than others. Every little bit of power helps him, the .2 on mystic shot did wonders for his early laneing but was in vain due to the lich bane nerfs. The people who play AP Ezreal, who love it, and from that can milk even the slightest of buffs for all it's worth and more. But you have to give us things to squeeze power out of. I don't expect AP Ezreal will be tier 1, I'd just be thrilled to see him brought up to tier 3 or even 4. The preseason is the time for radical change, compared to everything else that going on a few scrapes of food thrown to AP Ezreal would be minor relatively but would mean the world to those who play him.
I know you have a lot going on Riot, but please consider it. To any Red who might read this, bring it up as a quick topic over a lunch, or send a quick email to someone about it. If something is going to be done, now is the time to do it.
There are countless ways to buff him, admittedly some better than others. Many would also be buffs to AD, but AD is weak right now too. Any one of which could have a large impact. Ideas include:
-Higher AP ratios. The place to put this is on Mystic shot. -Make Flux apply a mark that can be popped for extra DMG -Lower CDs -lower mana costs. The place to do this would be on shift. -Shift prioritizing champs. I'm not as much of a fan of this as most are though for reasons I'm not getting into ATM -Flux hitting minions. Same as above, it's an idea, but not the best -higher mover speed, have you tried laneing against Xerath with 325 move speed? -Lower fall off on his ult -higher base attack speed or AD -More range? One of the worse ideas but an idea none the less -CC of some kind. A slow on flux or if you want to get out there a .5 second stun on shift -Give his passive a spell blade effect, it would help with CSing and over time trades, and let him use his kit's attack speed better -Give him his own sheen effect in addition to sheen(going for quantity more than quality on this one)
There are more, but these are most of the better ones(with some worse ones too).
