For real. Again. why.. Is ryze that busted? or is it something else? And the obligatory comment: Ryze gets another rework, but Graves still cant have a cigar.

Because his last rework failed spectacularly. His last rework made his skill floor and skill ceiling rather high, despite the fact that he is meant to be beginner friendly. Sure this rework will likely keep a rather high skill ceiling(since he does a lot of combos),but it seems to be a lot more manageable than the last one.

Also they had already a head start for the vu since they worked on one a year ago,but then it was ice boxed, meaning that they didn't have to do that much work on the VU to finish it.

He's getting a rework for 2 reasons:

  1. If you figure out the combo perfectly, you are almost unkillable top lane while being permanently oppressive with no real weaknesses as cooldowns are short.

  2. He's so god **** f**king boring to play as for anyone, even the Ryze mains.

P.S. I forgot a hidden reason

Riot needed to add a team ult that involved mobility and that's honestly what is going to break this guy and thus will need nerfs/reworks again.
