I'm b1, why do I play against silvers and golds randomly?
I don't play ranked very much. And I have a modest win/loss ratio. I'm not pro by any stretch of the meaning. So why am I facing people so much higher ranked? What kind of broken match making is that? My last game I laned against a G3 irelia. Who proceeded to poo all over me. I'm not upset over the game. Im b1 she was g3 this was an expected outcome. My complaint is why was I facing against her in the first place? I know there is a hidden mmr system, but having an overt ranking and division system is counter productive if you have another system that is actually what people's ranks are. Having to rank up With a bronze team against silver/golds because one guys mmr doesn't match up with b 1 screws up any realistic ranking system. Why can't I just fight people in my division. If I'm in bronze cuz I suck enough to stay bronze, well I accept that and want to get better. But if I'm "hidden mmr silver 2" then why can't I be silver2? (idk what rank my mmr translates to that was just an example)
