Seriously. Every other dash in the game moves in the direction of your cursor. What's up with Riven dashing the way she's facing?
Nidalee used to have her dash function like this, and it was changed to jump toward the cursor. Why has Riven been left behind?

It's k. I felt the same way when Taliyah was recently changed a month ago and people who didn't play her at all thought she was fine. It's all up to Riot to decide who to listen to for balancing.

I personally think the current mechanic is good and there is no need to change it. Sure it´s difficult and Nida´s jump was changed, but this adds value in knowing how to play riven correctly. Furthermore, people who are used to this don´t even notice it anymore. And lastly, you can also use E+Q to change in whatever direction you want.
In short, I think it´s a good thing it remains this way and adds difficulty in playing her. So you can actually tell who is good or bad with Riven.
Btw, if you are going to insult someone for being bronze, at least be high elo. Gold is nowhere high and is actually close to silver-bronze in terms of game vision/knowledge. It is just..you know... embarassing to see, someone in Gold insulting people below their rank xD

Darkslayer851 votesIt'll still function relatively the same, it'll just be easier. Right now you need to click in a certain direction so Riven faces that way, and this delay can often result in dashing too late.
