Question: Why does rift herald take two people to kill only to give a buff to one person?

It seems kinda silly that the one epic monster that only gives a buff to a single person takes more people to kill than dragon that gives team wide more useful buffs.

Your point is legitimite,

And the simple answer is rift herald is too powerful.

The damage it gives is insane (did I mention it procs on turrets?), its duration of 20 minutes is crazy as fuck, and 5% damage reduction saves you a lot more often than you might think.
