Riot, what are your plans to deal with pre-30 toxicity? You are robbing yourself of new players.
@RiotLyte
Been trying to level my smurf and I've noticed the amount of toxic people in every game. It seems clear by now that most people at these levels are just smurfing, but if I were a new player and I experienced this, I would be very unlikely to continue playing league. Every game, someone is flaming another player. Is that whole "Have you played games like league" question when you first login supposed to prevent this sort of situation? Because it isn't working.
Every player has to go through this torturous process. This is new players that don't know how to play the game and are getting verbally abused for it. This is players simply smurfing for fun. This is toxic league players who have been banned and are trying to make another lvl 30 account. Do you know what happens when toxic flamers get raged at? It makes the whole situation worse, and pre-30 is full of this. As a side note, I am curious to know the percentage of people in the active pre-30 population who are people who had been permabanned.
Riot, you always encourage use to play with our friends, even going so far as to introduce this whole new dynamic queue. If this is the case, why is it so difficult to have fun playing a game pre-30? No friend is going to stick around for stuff like this.
Edit: I'm assuming some of you would want the story behind that screenshot. I immensely dislike jungling on smurfs because I have to go back every 2 camps. I don't feel like I make a big enough impact if I'm unable to clear camps to keep level with other players and gank. I generally go in whichever lane. Looks like no one wanted to jungle, so I took smite in case we needed to contest something late game and went top. Xin wasn't particularly happy with that so once I reached level 3, I tried to jungle. As you can imagine, it doesn't go too well with Ryze. Meanwhile, our Yasuo had already died 2 or 3 times due to a lvl 2 gank from Eve. The flaming begins.
