PSA: Tryharding in URF

What I'd classify as Tryharding:

Playing the Objective game (Constantly backdooring) Possibly buying Guardians Angel (though I've learned it doesn't have the 80% cooldown so it's not AS BAD) 5-manning bot to rush gold advantage LCS strats etc

What.. is the fun in that? You can't tell me that you find it fun to rush through URF games and never experience the craziness of lategame, of avoiding any and all possible fun and instead just powering through towers to end the game as fast as possible. Why do you play URF if your goal is to play as little URF as possible? Slow down. Have fun. Stop harassing people, stop saying "ggez", leave your saltshaker at the door and come in to the party. Get in the middle of everything and let loose, don't treat this like something that matters. Riot hates bringing URF back because people get so full of themselves and the toxicity levels skyrocket. We have ARURF because people couldn't get over the idea of fun champions being fun, and DEMANDED the ability to ban champions as if this were a gamemode that mattered. We have rerolls because after people got random champs, they DEMANDED the ability to not play things they didn't like. But that's the opposite argument that was presented when URF was free-pick.

Honestly, quit being so hardheaded.

What's the fun in getting stomped everytime by the OP champ in teamfights or solo? Why can't someone use their brain to win in this garbage randomized URF?

wait but i had fun with a 9 minute game??

it was a stomp and everytime the laner came back to lane my friend and i just cc locked and destroyed them?

it isnt really our fault for not needing to back at all and taking all their towers with nobody coming to help

And what if winning as efficiently as possible is fun for me? Am I just not allowed to play an occasional game of yet then?

URF was fun for half of the first time it came around. After that it became a "no fun allowed" mode since everyone, their grandmother and their dog just pick what is most broken in a supposedly relaxed "for fun" mode. And people really prefer this shit over ARURF? In ARURF having a horrible game due to champion picks is a possibility while in URF it's a certainty.

Seriously, I meet less tryhards in fucking ranked games than I do in URF.
