To Riot: Rageblade Questions
I saw the changes to Rageblade on the PBE and just wanted to write a quick post on my thoughts on it and hopefully recieve a response back
I get Rageblade needs an early game nerf. It's WAY to effective as a first buy and you've written before on how you don't like the 1 item powerspike it gives. However, I was wondering why remove AP completely from the item? Users such as Kayle, kog'ma and Varus use it because of it's unique identity as the AP item for Marksmen. Even Kai'Sa as she's coming out would love a mid-late game Rageblade as it is because she shares similar features in her kit. That's my main queston. I love theory building and Rageblade has been featured in quite a few of my crazy concoctions because of its unique identity. I'll list some other question's that are less important but are some of the specific things running through my head along with that.

- Why remove AP from Guinsoo's Rageblade
entirely?

Could reducing AP down to 40 or lower (the base of blasting wand is 40) and compensatory buffs to AD or other features work? Why (for agree or disagree)?

I really hope to get a response to this, though this is a bit of a knee jerk reaction post so perhaps it's to early to respond. If any Rioter does find the time to answer I'd love to hear your thoughts. A lot of the builds i make my brother play (he's much more mechanically talented than me) will disappear without Guinsoo's AP, so I'm super curious. Thank you for your time.
P.S. I did love the change to the passive. I think that should make it more balanced and a much greater pick on melee's like Master Yi and Tryndamere.
(Liked it for the AP it gave his heal, though he probably comes out a head due to the passive changes)
(still sorta popular, though tank Jax has left it behind a bit
