Diana's main problem is her lack of an identity
Now I know what a lot of people think. She is unviable and needs a complete rework. Well I disagree. It's just that if she is left behind she is completely useless and unable to get back into the game, if she gets ahead however she is a facerolling penta machine. I might have exaggarated it a bit but you get the point.
I absolutely love her kit and playstyle. The issue is that people think she's an assassin. She is just a jack-of-all-trades type, can do anything, but doesn't do anything well. Does Riot want her to be an assassin or a fighter? Well I think enforcing her fighter traits would fix her issues. Just do what you intended to do with Ahri and make her into what she was originally meant to be now that DFG is gone, a fighter.
So why is she a fighter and not an assassin?

As an assassin she would be just Akali's worse twin sister. Just think about it. Akali does everything she does, but better. Three charges on ult that reset on kills/assists, no need to hit this banana shaped skillshot every time to reset it. Way more reliability and burst. Also her shroud and spellvamp.

No escapes. Currently she is this kamikaze pilot jumping into enemy team hoping to kill her target before she dies too. Assassins always have some sort of escaping mechanic, but Diana doesn't. I'm not saying she should get one, but if she was a fighter, she could be able to deal with getting damaged. Also she has a shield.

Her kit overall makes much more sense when she's a fighter. Think about it. Extra damage every third autoattack. Fits sustained dmg playstyle over burts. Lots of Aoe. Is unhealthy on assassins as they're meant to be single target deleters (reasons why Kata is badly designed) A shield. Assassins are not meant to soak damage, they are meant to be mobile and bursty enough to avoid it. Fits fighter style more. Then her E... pulls surrounding enemies towards her. As an assassin using it is a death sentence... fits fighter style perfectly. It deals no damage too.

Removal of DFG. Once you removed it you moved Ahri back into what she was originally supposed to be and not an assassin that item forced her to be. I hope you would do something similiar with Diana.
Just some simple feedback from me. I just love her and would like her to have an identity so that you can buff her without making her broken op.
