Fiora >: Why you no hurt less?

I'm one to admit even at my level I have those champs I simply just can't work around. o.o...Fiora will be that one..

I just want to know what on earth counters this woman and/or stands against her? o.o; I've gone full tank before and she cuts through me like I was simply butter. That's even with not having her constantly hitting my vitals. Believe it or not the only character I stand good against her is in fact teemo .-. (Shrooms keep the sword slaps away!)

However even without a last whisper, I experimented going full on armor, thornmail, omen, tabis too damn and it's like o-o Still not enough to reduce her down. Advice please? :D

You have to fight Fire with Fire. She's a duelist, and an amazing one. She does a ton of % max HP true damage, so going tanky won't help reduce her damage output a ton. You'll have to play another duelist and out skill her. I THINK that's what's on. OR get jungler help a lot.

Hell sad part is the only few people I know that can toe up to her get banned ;c. Darius Irelia ...Though I haven't tried Pantheon ..

Pantheon just hard counters her if you can utilize his passive correctly. He blocks damage from vitals.

I disagree. The key to winning the game (and that's the only thing that matters in the end, who cares if you won or lost lane?) against a Fiora is to NOT fight with her. She will win any 1v1, or close enough that it's not worth taking the risk. You ignore her and you focus on taking objectives and being more useful than her in team-fights.

OR you get jungler help a lot, that works too.

I agree. The OP seemed to want to know how to beat Fiora in a laning phase. Not as a game. I tried to speak to that.

try staying near walls and if you rng an unfavorable vital (say one infront of you ) you can leave lane for a second and reset it

staying near a wall prevents her source of true damage to mitigate your armor and effectively null her chances of healing off her ult (if you survive)

I mostly play Illaoi top so staying near a wall is kinda my thing but its one of the most solid things you can do to deny her.

you don't beat fiora by going tanky

you beat her by killing her with both damage and tankiness.

You don't "counter" her in the traditional sense. She's the best duelist, or close enough, so by definition she'll win any 1v1. You ignore her and you farm, and you just prevent her from taking your tower. You get your items. And then you go do something useful with your team. Either she follows you, and you should still be more useful than her, or she tries to split-push and you have a free 5v4. Be quick about it, though, 'cause if you leave her enough time to actually split, she'll win the game without needing to team-fight. ZZ'rot helps a little against split-push, but it's not enough. Just manage your wave properly and, most importantly, you have to remember about the issue and keep an eye for it. If you realize she's doing it when she's already at your tower, it's already too late.

EDIT: that being said, pretty much any ranged laner can bully her to some extent, especially Teemo with the blind and the MS buff.

She is designed to not be 'tanked' by you just buying items so you can sit on her and ignore her. You have to either build damage and actively fight her as someone who is also a duelist or play passive and try to interact the least amount as possible so you can try to have a bigger impact in teamfights.

Pantheon is a stupidly strong lane counter to fiora if you really must challenge her in a fight without being someone who is good at dueslist champions.
