you can literally say this about any champion

Heimerdinger places down turrets and rarely needs to auto attack has a stun making it easier for his nuclear missiles to hit you ultimate that creates a giant ass turret ultimate that creates an entire lane stun ultimate that can nuke any squishy if landed.

as in long range poke Massive dmg Low cd ult Crazy as burst. Quick cast on skills for easy lands.

Land one q for a kill. She typically the easiest mid laner to play. :T

I can't deny that she is an easy mid lane to play, however there are other mid lane champs other than Syndra that can make a Lux player's life hell. Viktor Yasuo Zyra Yasuo Xerath Yasuo Malzahar Yasuo Veigar Yasuo .......

also Yasuo . I think lux is in an okay spot right now. She's not in a position where you will see her in LCS IMO.

They banned yasuo. I played viktor an i cant even get close enough to poke her without her doing half my hp lvl 2

Don't ever fight Lux early unless you know that you can out-trade her, she can just proc thunderlords with an e auto combo because of her passive. Beating Lux requires you to outscale her and to not let her get easy kills. She's also super immobile so just ask for ganks frequently cuz flash is only up so often.

Lux is good but feels balanced to me at the same time, much like Ziggs or Xerath. Lux has more utility and CC than any of those but she also has less DPS and is more dependent on her Q landing.

I think her e should not do so much dmg if she reactivates it immediately because after she lands 3 of them or even 2 of them and auto's you you are at at least half health or less

OMG if you are Kat and can't SHIT on Lux the whole game YOU are the problem. Kat literally can never get hit by Lux snare if W or E are up...AND she ONE shots Lux before she can full combo.

First of all, watch the manners please. I'm not your buddy nor your student.

Secondly, I am not talking about Katarina specifically. All the assassins have the same issues against her. If you're behind and your burst isn't enough to blow her up twice over, her shields plus Barrier will keep her alive.

The only real problem I see with Lux is that her weakness is supposed to be "getting to her" to kill hear easily, however she has a big-ass shield that keeps her safe even from assassins in the late game. Secondly, her "poke" is not dodgeable. If she knows what she's doing, you cannot dodge her E poke at all.

She either needs a nerf to her long-range poke and 100-0 combo, or to her close combat. It's so frustrating when you actually dodge her Q, jump to her and suddenly she has an 700HP shield - and then she 100-0s you with E, R and passive. Even Xerath's long - range combo is weaker than hers. :/

This. Its not hard to land a E poke while playing her. Its half the lane so most of the time it will hit and u cant even get to her.

The problem is not its range, it's that you have literally zero time to get out of it. Yes, you can bait it so hard that she misses it completely, however in most cases it is impossible to dodge.

It's not the AoE that's the problem, it's that it's treated like a skillshot (so it has nice range and good base damage) when it's not. Annie's Q is very strong poke but even that is less annoying, because it doesn't chunk you for 250 damage at lvl 9 from 1500 range.

And not even this alone is the problem. Cassiopeia, Xerath and Syndra are just as bad. However, none of them have a big-ass shield that prevents them from dying even if you manage to get at them. Orianna has the same problem, however at least she can't 100-0 you so easily because her kit has less damage.

I seriously don't see why Lux has to have a powerful defensive spell when she's so good at sieging. She already has her Q to keep people away, just like Syndra has her E and Xerath has his E. They don't get a bonus shield to make sure they can survive assassins.

Not to mention a point blank xerath e is like a Luna or Gundarr q from Dota. Literally a mini stun that only serves to stop a channel or something

If memory serves, Luna's beam actually stuns for 0,8 seconds which is longer than Xerath's 0,5s stun at point blank after the nerfs (it used to be 0,75 iirc).

Gondar's shuriken now stuns twice with Aghanim's tho :D

Not sure how you think Lux has a 700 shield. Most of us don't even rank shield anymore because its such trash. Late game full build Lux doesn't even have 700 shield. Like I could literally have 1k AP, it still isn't a 700 shield. And if you stand there and let her E R you without being snared, you probably deserve the death

coming from a challenger you are legit trash at this game lux is literally the most balanced champ on league

a kit with 100% counterplay that if you get hit by its your own fault and hilariously squishy to the point where if you even flash over her q she instantly dies

you cant come close to 100-0ing them but they can effortlessly 100-0 you

she also cant build bullshit tank items like rylais so if even the support catchs you he can burst off 70% of your health

her ult does 300 damage at 6 and syndras does 630 at 6 more than twice as much and syndras is point and click

easy to play and land snares check <-- yeah she is "easy to play" that I am the only fucking person in master or higher that plays her and that she sits at a 40-45% win rate in diamond always

I was a lux main for many seasons but I dropped her this season due to unviability in high elo literally sona adc is more viable than lux mid and no I am not fucking kidding its true

Another one of these QQ threads. It really makes me laugh. Anytime a special skin is released, the board is flooded with people claiming "x champ is OP plz nerf". Lux has had the same numbers (not counting reworked shield,which is actually worse now) for years. Stop complaining that she does damage when she has AP and take the time to learn how to sidestep a slow moving projectile. Or better yet, build mercs and kill her. Isn't hard.
