Kalista Changes on the PBE

I was looking through the pbe changes and of course saw the Kalista changes and decided to voice my opinion here, and see what other people think. For reference, the changes are here: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2015/06/630-pbe-update.html

The first problem that she presents is her ultimate. The ability is a get out of jail free for whoever she has binded to, essentially barring that champion from being a target the enemy team can focus. This is a HUGE amount of power and gives Kalista's team way too much ability to make comebacks and avoid mistakes being capitalized on.

The second problem with Kalista is of course her passive and while the pbe changes are attempting to create more drawbacks to using her, I think the problems her passive presents aren't being dealt with properly. While only dealing 90% damage on auto attacks is a significant nerf, it came with ad buffs (I would have to sit down and look at the math to see how much damage she is losing, etc) and an E buff. All in all, her crits will end up a bit weaker, but I don't really think this is the kind of nerf that she needs.

What really needs to be addresse is her extreme access to mobility. While I recognize that this is suppose to be the defining characteristic of Kalista, this mobility is part of the reason she is such a highly contested pick. Her passive essentially makes her immune to movement speed slows. End of story. If Kalista is in auto attack range of anything, she doesn't really care about her move speed. This severely limits the number of champions in the game that are effective against her; as only 5 champions that I can think of can affect an enemies attack speed with their kit, while frozen heart and randuins total a 30% attack speed debuff; hardly enough to stop her from jumping around like a mad woman. I think the change that needs to occur is instead of having her lunge distance scale off of only boot tier, it should incorporate her movement speed as well. This way, slows can actually limit her ability to kite while still leaving her with more kiting options than any other adc.

All in all, I don't see the changes on the PBE affecting her pick/ban rate at any level. The power which her ultimate brings to the table, as well as her immunity to movement speed slows will continue to keep her as a top pick regardless of these small setbacks.
