I have played MAYBE 10 games of dynamic all year.

I get back from my restriction and what do I find?

Dynamic preference badge.

This is some bullshit.

But also, you can't fucking SEE them in champ select. What is the goddamn point of having a badge if you can't show it off, or alternatively, if you can't adjust your play for the boosted animal on your team who isn't playing with their team.

I understand that if you showed it in champ select we would all just dodge. I know I would, but at least show it in pregame when it's too late to turn back, so that we can know to play around the shitters on our team.

But before you do ANY of that, makes sure it's giving people the right fucking badge!

What would be awesome is if you could toggle your mastery flag to the SOLO banner if you have it. I would LOVE THAT.

I was wondering about this when the concept was first announced. They said that the "vast majority" of your 25 games had to be solo in order to receive the solo play badge, but did not tell us what that number actually was (20/25? 24/25?).

I don't believe that I ever got an answer when I mentioned this in the post, but it seems to me there's a certain lack of transparency here. I play primarily by myself but do enjoy playing with friends from time to time--it would be nice to know how much I could do this in ranked and still keep my solo badge.

From your data point it looks like I'll be getting a dynamic badge although I've played mostly solo as well. Guess I'll just take it as motivation to play even more!

if you played 1 game with someone (and win) within the last 25 wins (not games, wins), it will put you as dynamic. not saying you did, but letting you know just in case.

The reason they don't show up is exactly the kind of elitism shown in this post along with the impossibility of ensuring that all solo players were listed as solo while all duo-or-more players were listed as dynamic, because sometimes a solo might want to play with someone another game or whatnot. There's a ridiculous amount of "if you play with a team you're automatically a boosted animal" (which is definitely not always true) and the possibility of false positives along with that toxic attitude are likely the reasons they aren't immediately visible.
