Vaynes build

2.5k damage in 2.6 seconds..

You can literally build vayne like a retarded monkey and still do major damage.

That build is awful, she should only do good against teams that are far behind, or squishy team comps. Literally anything with Thornmail would destroy her with that build.

What I mean is you shouldn't be losing to that. That is basically a free win and by no means is a superior build compared to anything else. I think you might just have a problem with Vayne isolated to you and whoever in this community simply does not know how to face her.

i think you need to realize what this threads about because im a plat adc main that loves fighting vaynes because it usually is a free win

You sound salty, plus against champions with no resists you will rack up damage with crits, fervor, and bolts. But if you are against tanks, you are just dealing damage in bolts, which is high, but not absurd. Her damage is like any other ADC full build with a normal build, just higher than others when you focus on attack speed.

If it takes a Vayne 9 - 15 attacks to kill you, you are either a tank, and her kit is working as intended, but for some reason you let her beat on you for a minimum 3.6 -> 6 seconds straight with 2.5 aspd, or she's so far behind that the only thing she has a hope of killing is a tank that lets her continuously hit them.

I have never understood the bitching about silver bolts when she deletes people with her 70 AD steroid and (50% until recently) 70% AD burst from Tumble.

She has always done mostly physical damage. The silver bolts is just a nice chunk of damage when her opponents stack tanky stats.

It has counterplay. It's called force her to switch targets. Displace her. Big shields on low HP targets because the shields don't count towards max health. Yes, it's difficult to build against and play around, but that's the point.

She has no inherent AoE, nothing that allows her to engage targets beyond her attack range unlike every single other ADC in the game, and can only really damage you by auto attacking. She NEEDS silver bolts, otherwise she'd be garbage susceptible to anything with a thornmail with no recourse.

I forget the exact breakpoint, but I am going to do my best to guess from recall that it's around 1.8 A/s where the auto reset from tumble only benefits you in terms of auto attacks per second if you're plastered to a wall. Similar for her E because of the cast time and good chance it knocks them out of attack range.

But either way, it's going to be a bit ridiculous late game if Vayne is doing anywhere near a third to half your HP from just Silver Bolts. It means one of you has done something very wrong.
