win rates don't tell you anything.. stop reading them

for example i saw more than 20 posts about ahri 54% WR AND 20% PR

Listen dudes, doesn't tell anything... why? ahri is a super fun champion to play with... so many people play with her. so she has high pick rate. about the "high pick rate vs low win rate" 54% is not low. BUT i understand that many people play with her .. so she should have higher win rate ! right? NO 100% false why? because in that 20% pick rate it's only about 2-3% of people who know what they are doing or main ahri, the rest are either new players,"free of the week" etc. ahri is an easy champion to play... so her win rate is more than 50% . why isn't it more ? because there are games where people : 1. lost , 2. troll , 3. got trolled and lost. ,4 rage quit .5 disconnect . (4-5 count as lost btw)

wtf are you talking about? her win rate is to high not to low. you should not be winning 54% of your games with a pick rate that high. can you pick rick up that high it means players who don't know how to play the champion are playing them and still winning. That's the problem.

54% is not high for AHRI. would be high for YORICK and low for Zed

89% is low for Teemo

I concur that anything under 90% winrate would be too low for Teemo

54% is high for anyone. If any champion has a 54% winrate and a decent pickrate, they're blatantly OP. Even a champion like Annie or Garen shouldn't have a winrate that high coupled with a high pickrate.

???

You realize riot bases 90% of their buffs or nerfs from champion win rates right? Riot been working on the league franchise for about 7 years. Are you saying what they have found to be the best method of balancing characters completely useless? Downvoted.

And also, if you had any logic you'd realise the more people play a champion. THE LOWER THEIR WINRATE SHOULD BE, NOT HIGHER. Because like you said... Only 5% of those people actually know how to play her, so then why are the ones who don't know how to play her winning too?

that's why the game is unbalanced my dear bronze , they are doing everything based on win rates

"Don't base a champion's perceived strength off of the stat that literally quantifies their strength!"

Winrate alone doesn't mean much. Coupled with pickrate, it means the world. If a champion is played at a high rate and ALSO has a winrate above 51% or so, it's fair to say that they're strong if not OP.

If the statistics say that literally anyone can pick the champion and win more games than they lose, it's time to look at the champion for nerfs.

winrates DO tell you a lot.. but not everything . i do not agree with people who say ahri is OP. i would certainly say strong in the current meta and you can tell not by her winrate.. but by her BANRATE. http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/by-banrate

im not saying banrate is "all inclusive" either, and yes, in GENERAL winrate IS the most important stat.. but it isn't the ONLY stat
