Proposed solution to dynamic queue and solo queue players
Solo queue isn't rewarding at the moment, you are at a disadvantage from the start. My idea is to give solo queue players higher lp gains versus dynamic queue teams. Here's how this works:
4 scenarios as examples:
A: 5v5 all solo queue players, no bonus lp gains if you win.
B: 5v5 premade vs each other, no bonus lp gains if you win.
C: 1 solo and 4 man premade vs 1 solo and 4 man premade, whichever team wins, only the solo queue player on that team gains bonus lp. The team that loses will receive regular lp losses, including the solo queue player on the 4 man premade team.
D: 1 solo queue player and 4 man premade vs 5 solo queue players. If the team with 4 man premade wins the solo queue player doesn't get bonus lp, but if the 5 man solo queue players win they get bonus lp.
important So in short, the solo queue players on the winning team get bonus IP ONLY if the opposing team has premades. The bigger the premade the more lp gains.
Why do I think this is a good idea? Well ever since the statistics came out that solo queue players have a 45% winrate compared to the 55% dynamic queue, statistically the odds are against you as a solo queue player, and it is harder to climb elo. More lp gains at the right times would help balance the issue of lp and elo. Even if solo queue players are still winning 45% of the games, all you would need is to win slightly higher to make lp gains.
tl;dr More lp gains for solo queue players if and only if they win against dynamic queue teams, everything remains unchanged. Reward solo queue players.
