Didnt they removed curse voice because it give jungle buff timer?

They introduced that anyway lolololool

Now now... it's not boosting if they're your friends...

Eh. The thing with the jungle buffs made sense. Was unfair for only some to have that information, nothing wrong with putting it on the scoreboard for all to see so you can't use that.

And in general, old CV favored whoever had it. Anything added to the core game is more equal-opportunity.

Curse Voice has been allowed by Riot for about two years now. I'm not going to comment on the Dynamic Queue conversation right now, but I did want to clarify that Curse Voice was violating the Terms of Use on release and needed to be tweaked before it was allowed.

"Hey everybody!

I wanted to jump back into this discussion to share some updates. As those following this topic know, back in the spring we made some clarifications that 3rd party applications with particular functions were considered against our Terms of Service (that link goes to the old Forums thread, which is a mirror of this one), and that the use of such applications was prohibited (and could even potentially lead to disciplinary actions). One of the several contributing factors to this topic was the early beta of Curse Voice and recent updates to Razer Comms, and the conversations that arose around them.

Over the past few months we have been working with the developers of many applications, including Curse and Razer. Because of this, the latest revision of Curse Voice (version 6.1.X) and Razer Comms (version 2.1.X) no longer violate our current guidelines. I should note, however, that with all third party apps these situations are subject to change as programs evolve, and this issue may be revisited in the future if the situation warrants it. Also... Curse Voice, Razer Comms, and all other 3rd party programs are not supported by Riot. Because of that, we can never guarantee the user experience when they and other programs are run in tandem with League of Legends. We always suggesting disabling such programs in your first step towards any troubleshooting, should problems arise

Hopefully this clears up any remaining confusion out there."

Holy shit this is a retarded comparison. What are you even trying to say?

Popppyseed6/1/2016, 4:29:04 AM2 votes

When did curse voice get banned and why?

Milodic Mellodi6/1/2016, 4:32:16 PM2 votes

Oh yeah, because Skype is so much better than Curse...let's start eliminating any way for you to communicate with your team! That'll be so fun for healthy gameplay!

In the Video, Lobbster, the main dev for DynamicQ said : "we never had that much peoples playing ranked right now" to trying to tell us there never been that much players playing since DynamicQ come out like it was a great thing.

well no shit sherlock whats left?

SoloQ GONE, Ranked's 5 GONE, TwistedTreeline ranked GONE, TeamBuilder GONE, Dominon GONE.

is it me or the next STEP is League of Legend GONE.

They removed curse voice... what the actual fuck? Is this one of their failed band aids to dynamic queue that in reality just takes away from player experience? Not like I cant just use skype, but still.

ModAcademy Kayn6/1/2016, 10:31:28 PM1 votes

You guys are aware Curse is allowed in League now, right? After they removed it in 2014, Riot worked with Curse so that they COULD have Curse in League, without it being unfair. No one uses nowadays, but the option is still there.

Yfrappefort6/2/2016, 4:09:13 AM1 votes

Don't worry. According to them, a 5-man premade has equal chance of winning VS 5 solos players of a bit higher skill. Even with the lack of communication and coordination of the puggers, they should still fight on even ground against a premade because they are a bit more skilled. Nothing wrong here. Totally fair.

Silly rito thinks they have a say when it comes to voice chats ;)

Bluewintergaming6/1/2016, 8:02:13 PM1 votes

Add on to this

People keep stating that Overwatch is the same community as league. Everyone always tells me adding voice chat would be horrible idea due to screaming autism. In the end nobody fucking talks at all not even a guy eating a bag of chips.

Because League is full of a bunch of normies who only rage in text chat, they could never yell at strangers on voice chat.
