Would you take GP mid and leave your team potentially without an AP damage source or would you pick a mage for the optimal teamcomp?

I've had decent success with him in mid (not so much up top) but I'm not sure if I should take him into ranked as a midlaner.

Please keep in mind that I'm talking low elo, people tend to not itemize against you at all or just barely.

Armor is not as effective against AD as MR is against AP for multiple of reasons ( Autos, CDs, Overall Flat and % pen ... etc ).

and as Gangplank mid u have Rang + Sustain + CC + Cleanse + Global R + Armor Pen + Spam + Extra Gold + Burst + DPS + Better Itemization + Beard + Fancy Pants + She-male Hentai Girl Fri ... HUH !

Screw over AP champs and take Gangplank mid.
