Magic resist items need more value/defence, they were enough back then but now they underperform bad

Now that your champion design team have released/reworked 3+ AP champs with extremely high AP ratios on easy to land abilities then I think its about time to increase the value of MR items.

Because mages such as veigar, annie, and Lux(as only a few examples) burst 2k or more in instant button presses with 30 second cooldowns then I say its fair that the MR items get more defence or introduce new MR items.

The highest MR item we have now for tanks is <55 mr> and the mages can deal 2k in a few buttons but armor items have up to <100> which is good and assassins now are easily defense countered by armor and zhonyas while mages are safe and can just click on you to one shot you.

AP is underestimated, I don't know why MR is lower than MR because they deal more burst damage than AD and play it safe in range. They also have OP heavy cc abilities that can also one shot you.

I think MR items need more defence.

I built 4-5 mr items once and still got oneshot by the lux which is absurd. They need more value considering the already available magic pen options mages have that boost their already one shotting damage.

55 mr is too low, it needs to be like 75-100 and mercs treads should be 30 mr. Also the stat shards should provide 10 mr instead of 8. There needs to be stronger MR in this game because they are taking over solo queue.

Frozen heart: 100 armor 2 spirit visages: 110 MR

Thats not fair, AP is not that much weaker than AD and they just click buttons at 1500 range to win teamfights and go invincible when you oppose them(zhonyas).

Burst mages should have items to counter them as well as armor counters AD. With the cdr in game they spam spells 24/7 with full mana so its just needed to counterplay better.
