Lets test something. (Low elo only)

If you are gold and below I have a theory you should all test out. There may be some anomalies out there but let's see.

The theory: You lose the games where you have the worse support and jungle! If you only have one the game is probably a good one/close no matter the result. You win the games where you have the better JG and support! It does not matter how poorly or how well you play in these games if you are specifically a mid/top laner because I know adc needs a good support to play laning phase properly.

How did I come to this theory: My match history. Let me show you the scores of losing games between my supports and Jg's. THIS IS NOT TO SAY SCORE IS EVERYTHING BUT IT IS A FAIRLY GOOD JUDGEMENT OF HOW SOMEONE IS PLAYING! I also am not saying that I have played perfectly in all of these games because if I could carry I would so save your "just carry" comments, besides I don't play these snowball to win champs to climb like other people.

First score will represent my support/Jg and the second will represent the enemies.

Game 1: 3/6/1 vs 6/3/7 and 1/8/8 vs 1/5/12. I clearly had the worse of the two. We got stomped. Game 2: 4/5/5 vs 6/2/6 and 2/6/1 vs 4/3/14. I clearly had the worse of the two. Got stomped. Game 3: 3/12/8 vs 14/3/9. That is just support difference as Jg was not that big. I did not play well either and hard lost this game. Game 4: 6/4/7 vs 5/8/6 and 1/4/12 vs 1/9/3. I had the better this time! My score for example was 4/3/3 as Heimerdinger. Not a great score but not necessarily bad. We won this game fairly easily.

As a solo laner it is not always easy to snowball a game and if you are not playing a snowball heavy champ (like Anivia and Ziggs for example) that can get solo kills over and over you are extremely team reliant so you may feel frustrated, like myself, that the better solo laner is not winning a game just because he is not snowballing the game. So do not get down on yourself for feeling like you are the better player than the opposing solo laner. You might very well be. Sometimes matchmaking is just against you.

I need to understand that League of Legends is a team game and I can not control the Jungler and Support to play better. It is just unfortunate that these two roles are the roles that are the most helpful when it comes to winning a game for your team in Solo Queue. Junglers have to gank, get objectives, farm to get strong, and have a big overall impact on the game. Supports control the bot lane, which so happens to be the most snowbally lane in the game once you get ahead, and are great at roaming but one of the most important aspects of supporting is warding which gives your team another huge advantage.

Alright so you have heard what I have to say but what is the point that I am trying to make?

I have argued how these two roles are the most important in the game (It is debatable) just because of the overall impact on the game that they provide. Top lane is more of an island, mid has more roaming potential but good vision and Jg ganks can counteract that (plus if you are not an assassin roams do not always work out), and ADC is very team reliant.

SO WHY ARE SUPPORT AND JUNGLE THE MOST COMMON ROLES TO GET AUTOFILLED IN?

People that do not main these roles RUIN the League of Legends experience just because of the huge difference between the players that get these roles on one team vs on the enemy team! It is a part of the reason why people lose interest in the game. Those two roles are the most important for any given team (Watch LCS to see who gets people fed, gets objectives, and has the highest vision score which happen to be the three most important parts of the game!) yet Riot continuously matches teams with a huge disparity in players at these two roles. Their impact is felt much more than the other 3 roles because behind every fed Vayne their is a support right behind her and with fed Nasus a Kayn stood right behind him and gave him kills/or got him through a rough lane. The only way to counteract the skill difference between the JG/support as a solo laner is to get far ahead with kills, roam more than you are in lane, and knock down these towers yourself! That is a hard task if you ask me especially playing Anivia and Ziggs for example who can not solo kill their laners every 2 minutes.

TEST MY THEORY YOURSELVES PEOPLE! I highly doubt that I am wrong. I am happy to hear your comments about this!

STOP AUTOFILLING PEOPLE INTO THE MOST IMPORTANT ROLES IN THE GAME!

If you want to climb faster, master support or JG. Your increased win rate will show for itself. It is easier to deal with a fed Riven from top lane than it is a huge vision difference, 15 gank difference, 3 drags difference, and not to mention the better shields/engage you can provide the team as Support or massive damage increase from your carries if you are a Jungler!

Jungle used to be balanced around start of season 8 (window of outleveling laners was very small) until 8.10 hit and killed jungle diversity and made solo laners higher over jungle for long periods of time, then of course last patch hurt jungle even worse.

What person would want to have to keep re learning their roles every 2-3 months and actually have fun or be a team player (if team needs tank for example or doesn't have a lot of cc etc) when balance team is killing the role, diversity and fun of the jungle.

Riot has to give people a reason to main it and actually give people a choice of more than say 7 of the 45+ champs that can jungle for example Ekko Ivern Maokai Skarner RekSai Trundle Chogath all have a global pick rate (iron+) of under 1.0 some as low as 0.3 according to lolalytics and those are only a few of 17 under 1.0.
