This game needs Clash back

Riot has done a great job with League of Legends in my honest opinion. They turned what was once a game into a sport many people have a passion for.

Too bad their effort has ruined solo queue for many players due to questionable balance changes for the average player. Toxicity also ruins the game, every form, but it’s impossible to stop in a Solo queue environment. Bot lane gets camped, Top flames them for feeding, and JG sits around with 0 KP and still down CS. Any individual will tilt while in this environment. (I just got chat restricted for flaming and spamming ff when I had a 2/17 bot lane and they lost to Teemo support.)

Riot tried to make Flex rank for people who want to play teams with friends and still improve their rank. However, in my experience, it has been a failure because it’s hard to get all of your friends to start a team for a flex rank because it is seen as a joke.

This is where Clash comes in. It has the potential to bring the Sport of League of Legends to everyone and not just the game that is super frustrating to play. It was easy to get a team started, rewards were good enough to bring all of your friends together to play, and a tournament style only made it more fun. It actually feels like I’m playing the game that thousands of people watch on Twitch every weekend.

Clash gets rid of communication issues in Solo Queue, flamers are in a more relaxed environment with friends/teammates, and it brings joy to the players. That’s just the benefit to the playerbase. Riot also has some benefits for being clash back too.

Clash would only be a good thing for League of Legends. It’s time for it to come back. The game needs it now more than ever.
