Which AP Mage should I get?

Hello, so I have been thinking I really need an AP mage. I have been deciding between Veigar and Twisted Fate for a while now, but I want to see what else is out there. I want one that can have a good consistent damage output, but also stun then have a decent burst. One that is fairly easy to play but is still super fun too. An escape is also fairly important incase of a gank. So what do you guys think? Thanks in advanced.

I meant are there any other AP champions other than these two?

Lux Strong, good, only skill from her is landing the snare. Anivia lots of slows and a stun, also has a passive that makes herhave 2 lives. Somewhat a high skillcap, but very strong. Xerath Lots of range, has good burst if u can land the stun Ziggs Doesnt actually have a stun, but so much DAMN fun to play.

PERSONALLY, stress in the word personally, I find immobile mages like Lux Orianna Brand Anivia Zyra, etc. much more fun to play. There are some mobile AP mages that are also really fun in my opinion that are Ahri, Lissandra. I think that's about it... Most mages don't have reliable mobility.

Thanks for all the responses, I am thinking of Ahri, TF, and Lux as of right now. Possibly Anivia.

if you want escapesAhri is your best bet but her cc is hard to land, she does however do burst/consistent damage TwistedFate for good ganks with a stun Veigar for unlimited AP instant nukes and a very good zoning tool Ekko burst, escape, chase, retarded amounts of CC if you consider all the things he already has, also retarded survivability through shields and healing.

Galio counters everything on the midlane if played right. both ad and ap bit hard to get used to though and you don't see him often.

Veigar's your best bet. The AoE stun field shuts chasing enemies down faster than anything else I can think of. Laning against Zed can be tough though.

Twisted Fate is more interesting, but harder to play. A lot harder. And his damage is much less consistent.
