Get rid of Autofill
The fact that I am forced to play a role is completely ridiculous. Challenger players should have to wait for queue's. I'm silver. It's not fair that i am forced to play a role that i did not select.

True. League is regressing when it comes to Ranked Ques, yet again. All the autofill feature, is going to do, is triple the number of afks, trolls, and int feeds. I would be fine with this if Riot came up with a decent punishment system, but as it stands now, 20 slaps on the wrist later, these guys still continue to grief. Please Riot, listen to the community for once and stop gutting this game even further.
And I was playing during the blind pick era. It was chaos and horror. Sad that it seems Riot is starting to regress back toward it.
I'm guessing you weren't around when it was pick-order. Ranked isn't just how good you are at once lane, if you can't play all the lanes decently, then you don't deserve it.

Pretty much agree with him. too many games are becoming where people threaten to feed just because they were forced into a role they didn't select
Riot autofill costing people games. Why is this still in the game. Are you trying to ruin the game? You talk about making the game more fun to play. You talk about remove toxic mechanics from the game. Yet you add in the most toxic mechanic thing in the game. I am sick of having 10 dodges before I am forced to dodge as autofill has ruined the game for me and many others.
Okay what no one seems to addressed is the fact that when the new matchmaking system was made. The longer queue times had already been dressed because i was a known trade off that selecting roles would increase the queue times. And guess what? People were FINE with it. It was a worthwhile trade off. So why do we even need this? I've talked to many people. Seen even more talk about it and I've really not seen anyone that thought it was needed cause just about everybody would rather wait a bit longer to get into what is much more likely to be a good game. I know if a perfect world everyone should be able to do all the roles but guess what that's never going to happen. So now there's even more reason for people to troll if they get auto filled into a position they hate or know they are bad at. There really is no actual upside to it. Cause i'd rather be in a 10 or even 20 minute queue then be rolling the dice on wasting a game
Its incredibly frustrating to be forced into a role you arent familiar with and basically automatically lose a game. Just because not as many people dont enjoy playing support does not mean you should ruin the fucking game for half the people playing it. If someone is autofilled to support that means bot lane will not win, and your team is playing essentially a 3v5. Give people the option to turn off auto fill and have higher queue times. Leave it in the game for those who do not mind but give the OPTION to turn it off. Is that to much to ask? Everyone would win more games and enjoy this game immensely more.
autofill is just disgusting. the fact that it's even still here is a mystery to me. i mean, it was made to help make Qs faster, but its literally done the OPPOSITE . i mean yes the wait time before youre grouped for champ select is faster i suppose, but EVERY other time you get grouped, someone just dodges (im sure for an autofill reason at least most the time) and then your back at Q again. in addidtion its not fair that i have to fill a role i didnt sign up for. i mean, i dont blame the people for dodging. if im about to play a game as support which im sure ill lose anyways ( and not have fun in regardless) then id rather just dodge and take the single digit lp loss. that's all autofill has done for me, force me to lose a few lp every few Qs, cool. yes you could argue that i should just learn to play a role that i dont normally play, but as ive said i dont think its fair that i should have to do that, nor want to do that. perhaps maybe disable autofill for everyone under plat?? i just feel the point for which it was made has even just backfired so its just all stupid now. but whatever.. good day =]

I think that the moral of this is that riot no longer cares about the average player. This was created to make Q times faster for HIGH RANK PLAYERS. This is partially because, they want those players to be able to play more games and move up which i completely understand. This is also so they can hold more events and make more money. The concern isn't for the average gamer who wants to rank up. Its already pretty hard to rank up when you add a support or jungle who has no idea how to play the role and proceeds to die 10 times in the first ten minutes it makes much harder. Riot could easily make it to where auto fill is only active at a specific elo but hey wont because they no longer care about the rest of us. I watch all of these videos about the health of the client and I have yet to see anyone address auto fill. I'm not sure if any of this is what is really going on. It is just how it seems to me at this point i dont think that anything will be done or even said. That is just how i feel about it
im fine with being autofilled but when i want to play adc my support is 9 time out of 10 autofilled, and almost always an autofilled support will never know the position or will just suck at it( like its hard in the first place). im fine with autofill in norms but can we stop the autofill in ranked pls.
auto fill supports wreck games bottom line. they often say in bronze "i cant support please trade me out". then no one trades with them so they do some bullshit like
and build adc and take farm, kills, and or both fromt he guy who wanted carry. they need an opt out option plain and simple. i was ok with 7-10 minute wait times for games pre autofill. i will play 4/5 roles. since they gutted taric and soraka as of the start of season 6 and made them not as good as they were. that made me give up support. old soraka was way better than new soraka. old taric way better than taric.
