Riot, when you designed and released Kindred, they were intended to be a jungler. Their kit was specifically tuned for it, and then you removed the one thing (her passive heal) that made them viable or even playable. As someone who bought and played them up until the nerf, it saddens me that you destroyed my favorite champion in the game after three years of playing.

What were your intentions in the nerf if you just left graves, nidalee and others alone while destroying such a beautiful design?

Other thoughts?

honestly I'm kind of scared for any buffs. I don't want them to go overboard then have Kindred be banned all the time again. u_u

The removal of her heal is the straw that broke the camel's back. As a jungler, their only tool to heal and therefore stay healthy was removed. As an ADC kindred doesn't have the raw damage needed to succeed and up in top lane once again, that heal was what made her viable up there. Hopefully this post doesn't die and maybe Riot will give them back their heal. #makekindredgreatagain

I mean, they've been throwing around buff ideas the last few patches. At least they're kinda acknowledging that Kindred is in a bad spot.

I still really hate that they took away the passive healing on W.

Lmao do you actually think that the heal removal is what weakened Kindred so much? The base armor loss was far more influential, it made her much more vulnerable to physical damage early on, but it had no effect on her jungle clear since proper kiting keeps the damage you take to a minimum.

Even now, you can still do a level 3 clear with full hp left over and no leash is needed

Dk man I love Kindred, their personality is amazing and visuals too. But gameplay is pretty toxic, its like a jungle Vayne who is good early game and that ulti just made me hate her. I am still sad she didnt have some more original skills, at least for the ulti which can destroy some of the roster completely, same shit as windwall which also ruins (much bigger part) of the champion roster.

They were far too strong pre-nerfs. Coincidentally, they were also fine pre-nerfs until they got massive buffs for LCS. And then they got nerfed to the ground as a result. :/

+5 base movement speed, +X base armor, and returning the passive heal but against champions only (or alternatively, all targets, but reduce the healing or make it longer to stack instead) would be good.

their jungle clear is fine without the heal i can do a full clear just as well with the new w effect. u just gotta kite it right and pop pots and use smite at the correct times. the only problem is that without the heal and stuff they cant duel anyone before they get either botrk if u doin lane kindred or blood razor. plus the heal they had was so forgiving when clearing tbh u could pretty much not kite at all and still be at almost full and if u ever got low all u would need to do is heal to full off skuttle crab. if they buff anything it should be either the damage or frequency of her q or her movespeed just flat out because people always run away from me before i can kill em. i literally need youmu's with botrk plus blue smite and sometimes flash to catch some of these enemies that run

IMO it wasn't just the nerf to the passive heal. I think it was the series of nerfs (some needed) with the heal nerf being the thing that broke her.

Kindred has a 51% winrate in plat+. And not like she's legitimately awful like many other junglers, such as basically anyone else who used to build devourer.

Hmm hard to say why they left graves, nidalee and the other strong counterjungling problem champions but kindred was definitely one of the stronger of them which was a design which crowded out other junglers.
