Time to bring up this hotbed topic for discussion.

Okay so back in the day of season 3 and even season 4 there existed several free skill champs and by free skill I mean champs that had skill that cost nothing to use; absolutely nothing. The skill have cooldowns for sure but other than that free to use. They are as follows....Katarina, Rumble, Tryndamere, and Riven. Common things these champs share is low health and fairly mobile. By late season 4 I believe we saw the introduction of Yasuo again fairly low hit points alot of risk champ that achieves high risk with high rewards. Now lets fast forward to season 5 so far we have had Rek Sai and here is my honest to goodness beef with Rek Sai. Rek'Sai is in my humble opinion the living embodiment of everything wrong. She is a jungler with a heal, slow, burrow(might as well call it a flash), global ulti, vision without vision(while burrowed) and last but not least that hellish popup that takes even the best strategies and throw them out the window, because by the time you get back down to earth short of burning flash or having 2800 plus health your dead 90% of the time. Rek'Sai lets you have your cake and eat it. You get all the benefits of a tank with your extra order of high damage and cc to boot. She is the pick or ban champ in my opinion that need to go back the drawing board or face some serious nerfs to any one of her four areas of supreme world dominance(health, damage, cc, mobility) Now some of you may argue what about Gnar surely he rates in this category too?! Well here is the thing, Gnar has health half the time, damage the other half and a slow. Stuns are available half the time and jumps (flash like ability) mainly the other half as well as there is a huge skill level to manage that RAGE. Riven also falls into the gnar category for a lot of the same reasons. Rek'Sai has none of these problems and therefore a big HUGE issue. There is a reason that Rek'Sai was one of the biggest successes on launch day for a reason and also subject to fast and swift nerfs several times since her release which has only been a few MONTHS! So with that said I'm throwing the gauntlet down Riot. I want an honest answer for me and the community as to why Rek'Sai gets everything built into her kit. Barring that I want to know if Rek'Sai get a motion detector and burrow travel option how come Bard, who by the way is way weaker, doesn't get a motion detector too when casting magical journey so he can tell if enemies are on the other side of the portal.

On a more personal note I think this smells of change in the wind in which the day of the caster mage and other mana champs will be second rate and little played competitively in ranked or otherwise as its a too big of risk to play. Remember a lot of masteries and runes can be freed up without having to take mana regen allow those free casters to just beat all champs who do rely on them to die all the more at their hands.
